A Prologue 02:11
2.
Evermore 04:09
Tell me how your day, you made it to me Spending your time all over in me Should we keep being honest Hoping the moon won’t be afraid No matter how long it takes I am to tired of feeling scared No matter how long it takes I can’t keep this faith too far I saw those eyes Dripping with tears Sow your new home with flowers Hands holding each other That was the last time We spend our time together That was the last time We don’t talk to each other I regret for not making it out For not saying goodbye For the last time I think I’m lonely now I’ll be back when I get there No more, ever
3.
Enigma 04:13
It’s really hard to stare at your eyes And I still can’t try to understand All of the words that you spit it on to me And I still can’t believe you spelled it out to me I thought I will be fine But sadly no I’m staring at nothing My hands trembling Now I’m chasing my own shadows In this meaningless life There’s nothing I can do I’m running out of my words And you keep hiding away from me I wish I could save you
4.
Seasons come, the weather change But the clouds never ask me to stay If I could I wont be here, it would be my last It might be hard to believe Sweet smile, full of lies My ego represent hope for your health Even god can erase the pain you’ve made Just feel the same to me If my melodies are the ones nobody hear You can find harmonie behind your loneliness I keep thinking God’s punishing me On the people who matter, who love me I just had to sit there, wondering How long before I’m lost for good
5.
Letting myself get lost aimlessly I hate to admit, I’m losing my way It will always be like this? Or it can just fade away Say what you wish to say Shall we return home farther than where you left Most wound on our bodies heal The past is with us I can’t write with blood These fears I might face Will wipe away our tears Fill me with your warmth Your eyes will stay Whispers and dreams Leave them alive within me You’ve not seen what I have seen It’s blinding, for us and our fear
6.
Pitfall 03:22
It totally scares me I feel you in my arms again Just trying to feel this haunting memories Stepping away from anything before But even with all that I can forget Let me caress your skin Never knew that love smells It smells more like chlorine There will be days where you feel All alone All alone All alone We were just stranger You think I’ve ever been in love? Am I the only person who you loved?
7.
Hidden deep within my wounds and scars I feel the weight of an unbearable trial But who cares for these anger As my mind’s filled with burdens piled I’m lost in this endless worry Not in a quiet and desolate space But the best option for me is to hurry and to follow your dreams Hoping to embrace the nerves You slipped your story Now I’m dying I’m sick of living Now I’m sinking
8.
Rile 02:53
Once we met that craving peace None I’d tell how its loud and bloom Things still can be change but this is how the rhymes are made I find myself falling down again Step your feet to where the endless river is You’ll find out the warm sunrise wasn’t the same anymore No more burden you should carry on No worry about your way back home Like the leaves falling on it’s own Just live in peace

about

"Serenading the Scars of Wisdom” is the second album released by War Fighters through Paska Records. The album contains eight full tracks, including two maxi-single songs “Morphed Reflections / Burdens Piled” in September 2023. After releasing their debut album “DROWNING IN SADNESS” in 2019, War Fighters managed to find their way back to express themselves. It took a long time until the next album was born. As time went by, maturity was the real evidence of the time that had passed.

Who knows what kind of life they have been through. One thing for sure, “Serenading the Scars of Wisdom” successfully reflected the transition of maturity. Growing up does not mean being able to eliminate anxiety or disappointment. Many things are hard to predict, a sense of security that is reluctant to stay for a long time. Fear of losing a loved one who has arrived. Then, understanding the way God Almighty works by accepting all matters beyond human power. Maybe that’s how natural it is for humans to be able to connect breath by breath.

In terms of material, War Fighters also became more complex. Starting from the hardcore genre, they now explore punk, skramz, post-rock, and ambient. It can be heard from the first track and the other tracks that have clear differences, but have a common thread.

War Fighters: Alif Brillian (vocals), Fafa Fitralandi (guitar //Doust//), Mahardika Gandhi (bass), and Ayiz (guitar //Enola//). Also, the recording process of the album “Serenading the Scars of Wisdom” on the drums was assisted by Donny Andrean. And clear vocal was helped by Rafif (Yellow Flower Living Water) in the song “Burdens Piled”.
